These are the only authorised channels to report cyber crime in India.

If you've just been targeted, follow these steps in order.

Stay calm and act fast
For financial fraud, the first hour matters most. Call 1930 immediately to flag the transaction.

Preserve all evidence
Take screenshots of messages, transaction IDs, phone numbers, emails and URLs. Do not delete anything.

Report officially
File a complaint on cybercrime.gov.in and, for money fraud, call the 1930 helpline.

Secure your accounts
Change passwords, enable two-factor authentication and inform your bank to freeze affected accounts.
